The torque output capacity of the swing motor directly determines the swing operation performance of the excavator, especially under load conditions (such as bucket full-load swing). The torque is proportional to the working pressure of the hydraulic system and the motor displacement: the higher the working pressure, the greater the thrust of the oil on the piston; the larger the motor displacement (longer piston stroke or more quantity), the stronger the torque output per rotation. Therefore, excavators designed for heavy-load operation scenarios usually match high-pressure and large-displacement swing motors to ensure that even in the full-load state, stable and powerful swing actions can still be achieved, avoiding operation stagnation due to insufficient torque.
